History

In history today we learned about the French Revolution. During the french revolution there were 3 classes of people..

  1. First Estate(clergy)- The First Estate enjoyed enormous wealth and privilege
  2. Second Estate(nobility)- They owned land, but had little money income.
  3. Third Estate(peasant)- peasants were 90% of the population

Economic trouble:

  • for years the French government had engaged in deficit spending that is a government's spending more money then it takes in.
  • Louis XIV had left France deeply in debt. Recent wars, a general rise in costs in the 1700's and the lavish lifestyle were incredibly costly
  • Bad harvests in the late 1780's sent food prices soaring and brought hunger to poorer peasants and city dwellers

all those were causes of the french revolution. there were more, but thats a short list

Here's a joke

a man escapes from prison where he has been for 15 years. He breaks into a house to look for money and guns and finds a young couple in bed.

He orders the guy out of bed and ties him to a chair, while tying the girl to the bed he gets on top of her, kissers her neck, then gets up and goes into the bathroom. While he's in there, the husband tells his wife:

"Listen this guy's an escaped convict, look at his clothes! He probably spent lots of time in jail and hasn't seen a woman in years. I saw how he kissed your neck." If he wants sex, don't resist, don't complain, do whatever he tells you. Satisfy him no matter how much he nauseats you. This guy is probably very dangerous. If he gets angyr, he'll kill us. Be strong, honey. I love you"

To which his wife responds: "He wasn't kissing my neck. He was whispering in my ear. He told me he was gay, thought you were cute, and asked me if we had any vaseline. I told him it was in the bathroom. Be strong honey. I love you too!

A word that describes me

A word that describes me would have to be... prodigious. Which means- So remarkable as to elicit disbelief. Why does this word describe me? Cause I'm King. Enough said

Math

In math today we learned about something i will never use in real life. So i don't even want to talk about it. I dislike math with a passion so don't expect much from this post. Were learning about that thing to your left. Its called a unit circle or something. All i have to say is good luck in trig. and calc.

a book everyone should read

A series of books that everyone should read is Pendragon. These books are crazy. In these books Pendragon unravels time and space to save halla (everything that is and ever will be) from Saint Dane. Saint Dane wants to send Halla into choas. He wants to do this to impress someone. Who? I'm not sure. You see Bobby finds out he is a traveler. He goes to other territories to try and save them from Saint Dane. He travels through flumes. Its like a big tunnel that shoots you through time and space and all you need to do is shout the name of the territory and it takes you to when you need to be there. The books are a mystery until the very end. There are still many unanswered questions and new questions come up each book. The end of the newest book was mind blowing. It's all gonna hit the fan come May when the final book comes out. Well all i have to say is join Bobby on his quest to save Halla. Hobey-ho lets go!
